Murano, Venice, has been famous for the work of its master glassblowers since the fourteenth century, and there’s no more spectacular an example of their art than a Murano chandelier.

Using the original moulds and techniques passed down through Italian families for generations, we’ve recreated iconic designs first introduced in the 1960s and ’70s.

These magnificent chandeliers are enjoying a bit of a renaissance lately. A giant Murano chandelier from this period is the centrepiece in the bar at the achingly cool Babington House in Somerset. And recently, Jamie Oliver’s trattorias have been kitted out with more shining examples.

Any one of our gorgeous chandeliers will steal the show in even the grandest room. And as they’re all made to order, you can choose the final size, colour, and finish for maximum impact.

All Isola Blu Murano chandeliers are hand made by master craftsmen in Italy and come with a certificate of authenticity.

If you’re trying to source a particularly extraordinary Murano chandelier, send us a picture, and we’ll see if our artisans in Venice can replicate it for you. If it was made in Italy, chances are we can track down the original moulds, and we still use traditional blown glass techniques, which have been passed down by master glassblowers for generations.

Our furnaces are maintained at a temperature of 1300°C, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, so the authentic Murano crystal glass – made with a secret recipe – remains molten and ready to be turned into your very own genuine Murano chandelier the moment you give us the nod.

If you’d like additional information about any of our genuine Murano chandeliers, or if you’d like to discuss sizes and finishes, please get in touch. We’d love to hear from you.
